Denis (right) prepares to connect the detonation wire and explosives to live anti tank mines in the village of Pravdyne, where Roman Shutylo and his team of five Luhansk sappers continue to de-mine and clear live ordinance from the fields and civilian homes. The village, previously the site of Russian positions during their occupation of Kherson, was also the location of a heavy battle between Ukrainian forces and the occupiers prior to their retreat from the area. Roman and his larger group of 40 sappers, all from the occupied territory of Luhansk, have had three deaths and nine who have lost limbs in the line of duty since the beginning of the Russian invasion while working in the Kyiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
